Sapphire Stewart is a British artist based between Bristol and London. Known for her evocative self-portraiture, she explores themes around power, loss and the natural world. Her ongoing, untitled project that began in 2020 allows her to look inward, to be seen. It is a practice with evolving purposes but, most crucially, serves as a way to connect. Sapphire has collaborated with publications such as The Financial Times and The Guardian Weekend Magazine, and her personal work has been featured in The British Journal of Photography.
